About the event
Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse, a learning offering This two-hour workshop is designed for adults who want to better understand Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) and learn how to respond with care, confidence, and responsibility. Together, we'll explore what CSA is, unpack common myths and misconceptions, understand how grooming often begins, and learn to recognise signs that a child may need support.
We'll also discuss what to do—and what not to do—if a child discloses abuse, and explore the role each of us can play in creating safer homes, schools, workplaces, and community spaces for children.
Facilitated by clinical psychologist Eaishwarya Natekar, the workshop is designed to approach the topic thoughtfully, without the use of graphic or explicit content. Participants will leave with vetted resources for further learning and support, and the session will conclude with a guided decompression and sharing circle.
