About the event
Conversations around contraception, pregnancy, abortion, and reproductive health are often centred on women. But these experiences can also shape the lives, relationships, and decisions of the men in their lives.
This small-group workshop invites men aged 25–60 to reflect on their experiences, perspectives, and understanding of topics such as contraception, unplanned pregnancy, abortion, and intimate relationships. Through guided discussion and reflective activities, participants will have the opportunity to explore how societal expectations, personal values, and relationship dynamics influence the ways we show up for our partners and ourselves.
The session will include group discussion, individual reflection, and a voluntary opportunity to contribute to an anonymous research study being conducted by Agents of Ishq and Ibis Reproductive Health as part of a global project exploring the role of intimate partners in medication abortion journeys.
Participation and all discussions will remain confidential.
