Zine Scene

Growing up is rarely a straight line. Alongside milestones and achievements come uncertainty, transitions, and moments of figuring things out as you go.

For this edition of Zine Scene, we invite you to pause and reflect on what growing up has meant to you. Through zine-making, participants will create small, personal publications that capture pieces of lived experience — the things we carry, the things we outgrow, and the stories that shape us.

This session continues the theme introduced in the previous workshop and forms part of the lead-up to the Expressions Exhibition at the Agatsu Community Centre in April. If you feel like sharing your story, your zine can become part of the exhibition.

The workshop will be facilitated by Zinedabaad Collective and is free and open to all. No artistic background is required — just bring your curiosity, intention, and imagination.
