This month’s Zine Scene, hosted by the folks at Zinedabaad Collective, invites you to make zines on heat.

As global warming becomes more and more impossible to ignore, heat has become more than just weather. From sweaty local train journeys and power cuts to climate anxiety, exhaustion, summer memories, and the general feeling that Mumbai is becoming one giant air fryer… this session creates space to reflect on what heat means to us personally and collectively.

Come explore themes of climate, burnout, anger, discomfort, coping mechanisms, summer nostalgia (does anyone remember Rasna?), and urban living in a creative, low-pressure format. No prior experience is needed. Just bring your thoughts, questions, and curiosity.
