Cancer Survivor Peer Meet
Cancer Survivor Peer Meet
Service Description
This peer meet is for people who have experienced cancer and are navigating life during or after treatment. It holds space for the physical, emotional, and identity shifts that often follow — especially those that don’t always have words elsewhere. You’re welcome to participate in the way that feels right for you. Speaking is optional. Listening counts. What to expect These sessions are facilitated by someone with lived experience relevant to the group. They hold the space with care, without directing, diagnosing, or fixing. Each session: is conversational and participant-led values listening as much as speaking begins with shared group norms ends with a short grounding or closing reflection Topics vary each time and are shaped by what participants bring into the room. This is not a therapy group. It is a peer-led space for connection and mutual support.
