About the event
You may have attended concerts that are fundraisers for mental health – have you ever attended one where the songs are original compositions around themes of emotional well-being?!
‘Haal-e-Dil Kaho’ - presented by Sharvari Prabhu is a one-of-its-kind, never heard of before live music-for-mental-health performance taking the audience through a ride into their own meandering minds. Through the musical journey, the performance intends to increase awareness of, destigmatise and normalise conversations around mental health challenges.
Art breaks through the barriers which keep us from speaking up, sharing and seeking help.
Peppy, humorous, thought-provoking and catchy songs/poetry are conceived to inspire the audience to invite art into their lives as a healing force. The themes covered range from suicide-prevention, anxiety, and depression to lighter ones such as comparisons and procrastination amongst others.
Engaging storytelling, anecdotes, and a larger narrative weave the songs into a seamless entertaining and enriching experience.
This performance will be presented live by Sharvari Prabhu accompanied by two live musicians on the 23rd of March from 6 to 7:30pm in collaboration with and at ‘Agatsu Foundation’.
