Dot Listening: 10 session course.

The Dot Listening approach, crafted by Sachin Chitambaran, offers a nuanced exploration of the art of listening. Beginning with learning the foundational elements of communication and listening, we identify our personal listening styles and the core values and principles of effective listening. We discover the most misunderstood difference between empathy and sympathy through experiential role-play sessions. Participants immerse themselves in this exploration, without any jargon, enriching their understanding of the art of listening.

Sachin Chitambaran is the President of Befrienders India, a leading organization for 14 emotional support and suicide prevention helplines in India, and Assistant Director of Training and Development at The Samaritans Mumbai (India 1968). With over 13+ years of experience, Sachin Chitambaran is an expert in active listening, emotional support and suicide prevention. He is also a certified Suicide Prevention Gatekeeping Instructor by QPR Institute, Washington USA.

Things to note:

• This is an IN-PERSON course, every Wednesday, starting 3rd July to 4th Sept, 11am to 4pm, Mumbai.
• You must attend all sessions to receive the certificate.
• Each session will start on time and end on time. There will be a lunch break.
