Their giving rises from alignment and inner clarity.
They act from values, not obligation.
They turn inner growth into outer action — their philanthropy is an expression of who they are becoming.
They carry privilege with compassion and responsibility, choosing to uplift others with intention.
They sometimes lead silently and always sincerely, where impact comes from consistency and integrity.
If this resonates with you, we would be glad to begin a conversation about joining the Agatsu Giving Circle.
What is a Giving Circle and Why
A giving circle is a group of people who pool their resources and decide together how to direct their support. Around the world, this model has shown that collective giving significantly amplifies impact — decisions are shared, trust is central, and change is built over time.

Why Agatsu's Giving Circle
Clinical care alone cannot solve what is fundamentally a human, social, and preventive problem. The work we want to do is extremely important, and it needs to be done sincerely over an extended period of time — yet in the world, it is often neglected because it feels “not urgent.” Until suddenly, it becomes life-and-death kind of urgent. It is everyday work with profound consequences.
Members of the Giving Circle support Agatsu through long-term, trust-based contributions, committing over three years through one of the following annual contributions:
₹10 Lakh
Per year for Three Years
₹5 Lakh
Per year for Three Years
Through the Giving Circle, we hope to raise ₹3.5 crore each year, ensuring that the community centre, therapy clinic, and learning studio we have built can continue steadily while we deepen and expand the model.
What else being a member means
Members of the Giving Circle receive opportunities to stay connected to the work and community at Agatsu.

Participation is entirely optional. The intention is simply to remain connected to the work and the community around it.
Connected Model of Care
At Agatsu, we are building an ecosystem of mental-health care that reflects the way people actually live.
Instead of asking people to enter care through a single doorway, we have created multiple pathways to access care: through community, learning, and therapy, allowing individuals to engage with their mental wellbeing in ways that feel natural and accessible.
Bandra became home to Agatsu’s flagship Community Centre in 2022 and has since grown into a vibrant space of everyday engagement around mental wellbeing. It is an entirely free, stigma-free “third place” where people can walk in without needing a diagnosis or referral. Through art sessions, peer conversations, movement practices, workshops, and quiet spaces, individuals begin engaging with their mental wellbeing alongside others.
Today the centre hosts 100+ activities every month, created with the support of 37 on-ground collaborators, bringing together people across ages and backgrounds in a space designed around openness, curiosity, and care. Since opening, 4000+ individuals have engaged with the centre through peer meets, creative sessions, movement practices, and community gatherings.
Evidence-based therapy delivered by trained counsellors, offered at a sliding scale so that care remains accessible. Sessions are available in English, and Hindi helping reduce some of the barriers that prevent people from seeking support.
Since its launch, the Clinic has delivered 2500+ hours of therapy through a team of 7 in-house counsellors, providing low-intensity, evidence-based care to individuals across the city. Therapy operates on a sliding scale ranging from ₹50 to ₹750, helping reduce one of the most significant barriers to care.
Mental-health knowledge translated from research and lived experience into practical tools people can use in everyday life — through workshops, conversations, and accessible digital resources.
Over the past two years, the Learning Studio has delivered 500+ hours of offline workshops, created 200+ pieces of mental-health content, and reached 80,000+ digital interactions in the last 90 days alone.
Taken together, these efforts form a connected pathway of care:
One that allows people to encounter mental-health support through community, learning, or therapy, depending on where they are in their journey.
Looking Ahead
Over the next three years, we hope to strengthen and expand this ecosystem.
Opening a second community centre and clinic
Expanding the capacity and scope of our therapy services, and
Ensuring that all our work is fully accessible in English, Hindi, and Marathi

We are working toward developing a model of connected, community-based mental-health care that can be replicated in other cities across India. Our aim is to move gradually from city-level impact toward population-level change.
We invite you to be part of this journey with us.
