About the event
Kahaaniya is Agatsu’s lived-experience storytelling gathering.
Our theme is a simple belief: Mental health is more than just mental illness.
We all have mental health. We all carry stories—of change, struggle, caregiving, confusion, resilience, identity, loss, growth. Kahaaniya creates space for those stories to be shared, one person at a time.
Inspired by the Human Library model, Kahaaniya invites people to be a Panna. Each Panna shares a 10–12 minute lived experience with individual listeners. These are one-on-one sharings, without interruption. Just listening, witnessing.
To make the experience thoughtful and unhurried, each listener (you) receives a set of 3 tokens on arrival. Each token allows them to “borrow” a Panna for a 10–12 minute story.
After each sharing, there is a short pause before the next rotation begins. Over the course of the evening, listeners can move between 3 different Panne.
